RiverWind’s Youth Ministry is for all students in grades 5-12. When we gather together, we challenge our youth to grow in Christ and forge relationships with one another. Our youth participate in events, Bible studies, and have opportunities to serve and grow at RWC.
We want to help our youth tell the story about Jesus–who came down to earth about 2,000 years ago out of complete obedience to the Father, and he served sinful men to the point of death on a cross. He victoriously arose from the grave affirming all that he and the prophets before him exclaimed by fulfilling the prophecies and laws of the Old Testament. There was nothing normal about the life Jesus lived; and his followers are called to live lives that stand out, as well.
As his disciples, we are told to be salt and light in the world so that others would give God glory (Matthew 5:13-16). Part of our mission at RiverWind is to equip our youth with the unchanging truth of God so they may take a stand alongside the invisible church against the world. When our youth gather together, they enjoy spending time in fellowship and playing games while also learning about the truths of the Bible.
Every Sunday Night from 5-7 PM throughout the school year students come to church to hang out, play games, and study God’s Word. We hope to see you there!
